Learning how to use OSSBuy sheets properly transforms your shopping experience from random browsing into targeted, efficient purchasing. This guide covers every feature of the OSSBuy spreadsheet so you can find exactly what you need in seconds rather than hours.
OSSBuy sheets are designed with simplicity in mind. Even if you have never used a product spreadsheet before, the intuitive layout and clear organization make getting started easy. Within five minutes, you will be filtering, searching, and bookmarking like a pro.
Opening the Spreadsheet
The OSSBuy spreadsheet opens in any web browser or spreadsheet application. No special software is required. The file loads quickly and is optimized for both desktop and mobile viewing, so you can shop from anywhere.
Upon opening, you will see the overview tab with featured items and a row of category tabs at the top or bottom of the screen. Click any tab to switch categories. The overview tab updates daily with new drops and highlighted deals.
Navigating Category Tabs
Each category tab contains rows of products organized by relevance and recency. The leftmost column typically shows the product name, followed by brand, link, price, size availability, QC rating, and notes. Hover over or click any cell to see the full content if text is truncated.
To find a specific brand, use Ctrl+F (or Cmd+F on Mac) to open the search box. Type the brand name and jump between matches with the navigation arrows. For broader searches across all categories, use the global search function if available.
Using Filters
Filters are the most powerful feature of OSSBuy sheets. Click the filter icon on any column header to reveal sorting and filtering options. Sort by price low-to-high to find budget options, or high-to-low to see premium selections. Filter by QC rating to see only the highest-quality items.
For clothing categories, filter by size to hide items that are not available in your measurements. This prevents disappointment from finding the perfect hoodie only to discover it does not come in your size.
Bookmarking and Saving
Found items you want to buy later? Most spreadsheet applications allow you to bookmark specific rows or save filter combinations. Create a personal shortlist by copying rows to a separate tab or document. This keeps your shopping list organized and ready for your next purchase session.
